Congratulations on purchasing Augmenta!

These instructions cover the use of the Augmenta Tablet in detail and the in-cabin control interface for the Augmenta Field Analyzer. Instructions assume the Augmenta Field Analyzer has been previously installed on your tractor / self-propelled vehicle cabin roof and is connected to suitable VRAClosed Variable Rate Application utilizes a prescription (Rx) map for a given field and product to automatically adjust the rate of application based upon the target rate zones within the field. The .shp, .shx, and .dbf files required to create a shapefile prescription map must be in a polygon shape format that complies with the ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) shapefile specifications and must also be in the WGS (World Geodetic System) 84 datum. enabled equipment.

The Augmenta Tablet is wireless. It controls the Augmenta Field Analyzer via a local Wi-Fi connection broadcasted by the Augmenta Field Analyzer on top of the cabin.

While in operation, the Augmenta Field Analyzer connects to the Augmenta Web Portal via the mobile/cellular network. It can store more than 400GB of data internally . If a mobile/cellular network is unavailable or only provides intermittent coverage, the data is kept until an internet connection is (re)established.

Before proceeding, please ensure that the Augmenta Field Analyzer is mounted on the cabin roof and is turned on (if not, press the side power button on the rooftop unit and wait until the power indicator light stops flashing). Press the power button on the side of the Augmenta Tablet. The Home Screen menu will be displayed after a few seconds.

Make sure that the Augmenta Field Analyzer is powered on and that the Augmenta Tablet is within its Wi-Fi range. The tablet needs to be connected to the Wi-Fi signal broadcaster to display the screen view shown above. If the tablet is not connected to the analyzer's Wi-Fi, following screen will be shown :

From the Home Screen menu, press the button displaying the Augmenta Logo (i.e., Start an Operation VRA, Monitoring, PGR etc. option) found in the top left corner of the screen.

The Select Operation Type menu will appear. This menu offers three operation types; Field Monitoring, Scan Based VRA, and Prescription VRA.
