Configure Alarms and Volume Settings
Raven field computers include adjustable volumes and settings for audio alarms and signals.
Configure Proximity Audio Signals
Proximity audio signals are audible notifications that will be heard when the implement reaches a user-defined distance from the boundary or headland.
To configure proximity audio signals:
- Select Settings on the bottom left of the Home screen. The Settings Menu will open.
- Select Audio Settings on the Settings menu. The Audio Settings window will open.
Note: The volume slider will only appear on CR12™ devices.
- Select any of the desired checkboxes to activate the proximity alarm for:
Boundaries Proximity Signal - Activates when within the threshold distance to a boundary.
Headlands Proximity Signal - Activates when within the threshold distance to a headland.
Product Change Signal - Activates when within the threshold distance to a product change line.
- Select the distance boxes to set the desired distance from the boundary, headland, or product change line for the alarm to activate.

Use the slider to set the desired volume level (0 to 100).
Note: This volume setting will affect all sounds emitted from the CR12™.
Alarm Settings Tab
Note: Refer to Active Alarms for more information on alerts during field operation in ROS.
To edit Alarm Settings:
Note: Audible and pop-up alarms will be triggered based upon the product control user settings. Refer to Product Control User Settings for details on these user settings.
- Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.

Select the User Profile utility.

Select the Alarm Settings tab in the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:
Audible Alarms
Enable this option to receive audible alerts for alarm conditions detected by the ROS device.
Popup Alarms
Enable this option to receive a prompt for alarm conditions detected by the ROS device.
Audible Backup Warning Enabled
Select this check box to enable an Audible Backup Warning alarm.
Alarm Volume
Adjust the alarm volume on the Audio Volume slider.
