General User Settings

Note:  An administrator profile is available by default with ROS. It is recommended that the administrator profile be used only by an equipment owner or manager.

User Information Tab

The user information tab provides fields for entering the operator contact information. To enter or edit user information:

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.

  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the User Information tab on the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:

Location Information Tab

The location information tab provides fields for company contact information and desired display language. To access location information:

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the Location Information tab on the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:

Unit Preferences Tab

The Unit Preferences tab provides access to personalized language and display unit preferences. To configure unit preferences:

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the Unit Preferences tab on the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:

System Preferences Tab

The System Preferences tab provides access to settings to customize the ROS device display and operation.

To adjust system preferences:

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the System Preferences tab on the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:

Alarm Settings Tab

To edit Alarm Settings:

Note:  Audible and pop-up alarms will be triggered based upon the product control user settings. Refer to Product Rate Control Configuration for details on these user settings.

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the Alarm Settings tab in the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:

Administrator Options Tab

When logged in as a system administrator, the Administrator Options tab provides access to the utilities to manage and edit user profiles. To access the system Administrator Options:

Note:  The Administrator Options tab will only be available when logged in with the administrator profile.

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the Administrator Options tab on the General User Settings prompt.

    The following fields will be available:

User Profile Security Options Tab

The Security Options tab allows the profile user to enter a new personal identification number, or PIN, for secure login. To access the Security Options tab:

  1. Select the Administrator Panel icon in the top left corner of the display.
  2. Select the User Profile utility.

  3. Select the Administrator Options tab on the General User Settings prompt.

  4. Select the Security Options tab on the General User Settings prompt. The following fields will be available:
