Operate the Bin Chain Job Widget
Note: If no bin chains have been configured, the following options will not be available. Refer to Configure a Bin Chain in ROS and Configure Chain Profiles for instructions on configuring bin chains and chain profiles.
To reset the chain to the first link, press the left half of the Bin Chain button.
To activate or deactivate cleanout, press the right half of the Bin Chain button. Cleanout is only available after the chain has completed with the advance method detected for all links in the chain.
To open the settings page, long press the bin chain button. There are two tabs. The first tab (Bin Chain Settings) allows the user to adjust the settings as desired. The second tab (Bin Link Order) allows the user to rearrange bin chain order.
Bin Chain Settings Tab
To view and adjust settings on the Bin Chain Settings tab:
-
Select and hold the Bin Chain widget. The Bin Chain Settings will open.
Change the product.
Select the desired node.
Select Auto Advance and refine the settings based on preferences.
Note: Select only one of the auto advance options.
Bin Level Sensor - Advances to next node in the chain when the bin level sensor low level triggers.
Tank Empty - Advances to the next node in the chain when the tank is empty.
Low Tank - Advance to the next node in the chain when the low tank sensor triggers.
Shutdown Chain - Will turn all nodes in the chain off when the last bin is complete. The chain will go into cleanout ready mode.
Start Cleanout - Will turn all of the nodes to auto with each having a fraction of the target rate for each bin. For example, a two bin chain will apply 50% out of each bin.
Delayed Chain Shutdown - Will leave the last node running for the set time (in seconds) and then turn all nodes off or advance to the next link.
Note: If the machine was reloaded after chain configuration is complete, reset the chain to the first bin in the chain.
