GPS Information Page
The steering guidance controller (SGC steering guidance controller) provides some general GNSS
Global Navigation Satellite System diagnostic data from the GNSS receiver. To review GNSS data from the connected receiver:
Note: Some pages and options may differ based upon how the machine or implement is configured.
- Select the GPS Information button. The following diagnostic information is displayed:
The GPS Information page displays the following data:
Latitude
The angular distance of a point north or south of the earth equator.
Longitude
The angular distance of a point east or west of the meridian at Greenwich, England.
Elevation (MSL)
The height of the GNSS antenna in reference to sea level.
Speed
Current speed based on GNSS measurements.
GGA Quality (Mode)
The current convergence state of the GNSS receiver.
- 0 = No data received.
- 1 = Single solution, no differential
Differential Global Positioning System is an enhancement to standard GNSS/GPS messages to provide better position accuracy. corrections being received.
- 2 = SBAS converged, GLIDE®, GS-Lite converged, Satellite GS converging.
- 3 = N/A
- 4 = RTK
Real-time Kinematic converged, Satellite GS (500S™) converged.
- 5 = RTK Float, Satellite GS converged.
- 6 = Dead Reckoning.
Number of Satellites
The number of satellites currently in view by the GNSS receiver.
HDOP
If all of the satellites in view are from the same direction, the number will be higher and the accuracy will be reduced.
Heading
The machine direction of travel.
Differential ID
The ID of the differential source used to obtain the solution.
Age of Differential
Time (in seconds) since the last differential correction was received. If a differential source is not currently tracked this entry will be “- - - -”.
