Implement Disengage/Engage Settings (Implement Steering Only)

Note:  Some pages and options may differ based upon how the machine or implement is configured.

Description of Disengage/Engage Settings

Engagement Type

Disengagement Type

Use the drop-down to select how the steering system should disengage steering.

  • Tractor Linked - Implement guidance disengages when tractor auto-steering disengages.
  • Height Switch - Implement disengages when implement is raised.
  • Field Computer Only - Implement disengages via the UT independent from machine disengage status.
  • ISO Hitch Position/Status - Implement disengages via a certain hitch position which is broadcast over the ISObus.

Note:  When an ISO hitch position/status message is available, the engage/disengage type can be set to ISO Hitch Position/Status.

Note:  Use the next and previous page buttons at the bottom of the page as necessary to access additional settings.

Engage Delay

Defines how long before the implement will start steering after the engage status change.

Disengage Delay

Defines how long the implement will keep steering after the disengage status change.

Auto-Center

Determine if the implement will return to center after disengaging.

Hitch Status Settings

If the ISO Hitch Position/Status is selected for either the Engage or Disengage Type, the Hitch Status Settings page will be available to adjust hitch settings and options.

Hitch Location

Set the location of the three-point hitch on which the implement steering system will monitor to engage or disengage auto-steering.

  • Primary/Rear – Implement steering engage/disengage will react to the primary/rear three-point hitch.
  • Secondary/Front – Implement steering engage/disengage will react to the secondary/front three-point hitch.

Hitch Parameter

  • Position - Implement steering engage/disengage will react to the set position limit.
  • In Work Indication - Implement steering engage/disengage will react to the binary status signal indicating that the three-point linkage is situated below (in-work) or above (out-of-work). This is an adjustable switching threshold.

Position Limit

Set the position limit to the desired hitch position where the implement steering should engage/disengage.

Current Hitch Position

Reading of the actuator position during operation.

In Work Indication

Implement steering engage/disengage will react to binary status signal indicating that the three-point linkage is situated below (in-work) or above (out-of-work) and adjustable switching threshold.
