Combine Tablet Setup

Note:  The combine tablet will come with these settings already installed. These steps should only be necessary in the event that the tablet is reset to factory settings.

  1. Turn on the tablet.

  2. Add on screen keyboard access in the task bar

    1. Press and hold in task bar area until box highlights, then release to obtain menu

    2. Select Show touch keyboard button

    3. Keyboard icon should now be visible

  3. Connect to a Wifi network

  4. Update Windows

  5. Install Google Chrome and set as default browser

  6. Open Google Chrome

  7. Add shortcut

    2. Name Slingshot®

    3. URL https://ravenslingshot.com

  8. Add shortcut

    2. Name OMNiDRIVE™

    3. URL https://omnidrive.ravenslingshot.com

  9. Add shortcut

    2. Name Installation + Setup

    3. URL https://ravenindustries.mcoutput.com/omnidrive/Content/Home.htm

  10. Delete Web Store shortcut

  11. Open Power & Sleep settings

    1. Set power settings as follows for Screen and Sleep

      1. Batt-1 hr

      2. Plugged in-Never

    2. Open Additional Power Settings

    3. Open Change Plan Settings

    4. Open Change Advanced Power Settings

    5. Go to Processor Power Management

    6. Go to Minimum Processor State

      1. For Plugged In set it to 100

    7. Apply settings and exit

  12. In the Windows search window enter Quick Assist. Do not open application.

    1. Pin to Start

    2. Pin to Taskbar

  13. In Windows search window enter Tablet Mode Settings and open application

    1. For When I sign in select Use tablet mode

  14. Windows+R

    1. Type in netplwiz

    2. Uncheck User must enter a user name and password to use the computer

    3. Apply changes

  15. Restart tablet

  16. Install Wire Shark

    1. www.wireshark.org/download

  17. Disable Wifi

  18. Install OMNiDRIVE™ Background

  19. Restart Tablet to confirm home screen configuration

  20. Shut down the tablet using the Power Shutdown process. Do not turn unit off using the power button on top of the unit.
