Controlling E-Stop
Note: The status LED on the controlling E-Stop will be solid where all other E-Stop LEDs will be flashing. The controlling E-Stop must be mounted in the controlling combine The combine that may assign paths to, and may sync with, the OMNiDRIVE™ tractor. One controlling combine is required for all OMNiDRIVE™ locations. during OMNiDRIVE™ operation.
Reassign the Controlling E-Stop:
Complete the following steps to reassign a hand-held E-Stop as the controlling E-Stop:
- Press an hold the power button on the E-Stop for 12 seconds.
- Confirm that the status LED changes to solid.
Note: The following status LED colors will be the same between the controlling E-Stop and all other E-Stops within range.
Tractor E-Stop
An E-Stop is required to be mounted in the tractor cab. This E-Stop is required for the OMNiDRIVE™ system to function.
Note: The E-Stop mounted in the tractor cab must be configured as a non-controlling E-Stop.
Hand-held and Non-controlling E-Stops
Note: The controlling E-Stop must be mounted in the controlling combine during OMNiDRIVE™ operation. The status LED on the controlling E-Stop will be solid where all other E-Stop LEDs will be flashing.
The hand-held E-Stops are battery powered a will need to be charged periodically via the supplied USB-C charging cable (P/N 420-2002-099). Also note that hand-held E-Stops will automatically power down after 30 minutes to conserve battery. When working in the vicinity of the OMNiDRIVE™ tractor, press the power button to wake the hand-held E-Stop and confirm that the status LED indicates that Tractor Interface Board (TIB) communication is detected.
