Field Hub Status LEDs
Operational LED Status

Power
General status of the Field Hub.
Note: The Field Hub goes through a power down sequence when the ignition is switched off. It is normal for the Power LED to remain on for approximately 60 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off.
Activity or Act/232
Displays the data transmission activity over the WAN connection and serial port.
Signal
Displays the current cellular signal strength.
Network
Displays the status of the cellular network.

The Field Hub is powered on. |
Green - Flashing | While holding the Reset button, a flashing green LED indicates that the Field Hub will reboot when the button is released. | |
Green/Yellow - Alternating | The Field Hub has a fixed GNSS![]() |

Yellow - Solid | Ignition power is off. Field Hub is in the power down sequence. | |
Yellow - Flashing |
While holding the Reset button for more than 20 seconds, a flashing yellow LED indicates that the Field Hub will enter Recovery mode when the button is released. Note: It is not recommended to use the Recovery mode without instruction from the Raven Technical Service team. |

Red - Flashing |
While holding the Reset button, a flashing red LED indicates that the Field Hub will be reset to factory default settings when the button is released. Note: It is not recommended to reset factory defaults without instruction from the Raven Technical Service team. |

Yellow - Flashing | Data is being transmitted or received over the serial port and WAN interface. | |
Red - Flashing | Data is being transmitted or received over the serial port. | |
Green/Red - Alternating | Data is being streamed over the serial port and WAN interface at the same time. | |
Signal | Green - Solid | The cellular signal is strong (an RSSI![]() ![]() |
Yellow - Solid | The cellular signal is marginal (an RSSI between -85 dBm and -100 dBm). | |
Yellow - Flashing | The cellular signal is poor (an RSSI between -100 dBm and -110 dBm). | |
Red - Flashing | No cellular signal is available (an RSSI less than -110 dBm). | |
Network | Green - Solid | Network ready, LTE service is available. |
Green - Flashing | Network ready, LTE roaming service available. | |
Green/Yellow - Alternating | Network ready, 2G or 3G service available. | |
Green/Yellow/Off - Alternating | Network ready, 2G or 3G roaming service available (LTE is not available). | |
Yellow - Solid | Connecting to the network. | |
Yellow - Flashing | No service available. | |
Red - Solid | No cellular network available. Link to the network is not present. | |
Red - Flashing | Authentication/negotiation has failed (EV-DO only). |

Yellow/Red - Alternating | Network operator switching is enabled. However, router is unable to locate the required firmware. | |
Red - Flashing | No service available. |
Ethernet LED Status
The LEDs next to the Ethernet plug on the back of the Field Hub display as follows:
Link
The Link LED is illuminated when a link is established with an Ethernet device (e.g., Raven Raven field computer, personal mobile device, etc.).
Activity
The Activity LED flashes when the Ethernet device is transmitting or receiving data.
