Setup Prismatic Monitor Triggers
If desired, Prismatic allows you to set up alert notifications for individuals or groups for unexpected conditions such as "fail to run" within your instance. You may set up an ‘alert group’ who will receive a text message or email when the instance does something not perform as anticipated. Prismatic allows for users to be alerted of several instance events, or triggers, such as:
- Completed executions
- Exceeded duration of executions
- Failed executions
- Started executions
- Deleted instances
- Disabled instances, etc.
To set up a triggers on a monitor:
- Open a web browser window or tab and navigate to Prismatic (https://app.prismatic.io/).
- Select Customers and select the customer account to edit.
- Select Monitors.
- Select the green Add Alert Monitor Button.
- Fill in the Name for the monitor.
- Select the instance.
- Select a Trigger.
- Select Add.
