Create a New Product in the Product Manager

The Product Manager allows the user to create, edit, and delete products. Users can register products with Crop Registration for usage within product maps. See Product Maps Layer for more information on using product maps within a job.

Note:  The Product Manager and product maps must be unlocked to be accessed. Refer to Feature Unlocks Overview for more information on unlocking features.

To create a new product in the Product Manager:

1. Select Settings on the bottom left of the Home screen. The Settings Menu will open.

2. Select Product Manager on the settings menu. The Product Manager window will open.

3. Select New Product.

4. Enter the product name.

5. If desired, select which color to be assigned to the product.

   Note:  When using the Product Maps Layer feature, any area where the product was applied will appear as the selected color.

6. Configure the product with any desired properties. Each property can be assigned a value. A product can be configured with up to six properties with corresponding values, which will be displayed when the Product Maps Layer is active.

   Note:  For example, a property could be set as Size, and the related value could be set as Small.

7. Save the new product and return to the Products Master List to verify the new product has been created.

Note:  Products can also be imported into CRX via the File Manager. See Transfer Products via .CSV File for more information.

Add a New Product Configuration

Product configurations save information on products assigned to each control channel and may be used to quickly set up the Raven OS for common or various input or application operations. The product configuration information may be used to enhanced job reporting information and allows improved product information to be saved, changed, and used quickly and easily.

To create a new product configuration:

1. Select the Product Configuration panel to display any available product configurations.

2. Select the Add button to create a new product configuration.

3. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the desired name or description for the product configuration and touch the Done button. The product setup screen will be displayed.

4. Refer to Product Reporting Information in ROS and Mix Ratios and Ingredients in ROS to configure the product or mix information for each control channel available in the product configuration.
