ROS Job Profile Configuration

Note: Job profiles are not required to start a job.

Create a New Job Profile

To configure a job profile for future field operations:

Select the Jobs icon toward the right side of the Street Maps view to display the Job Profile panel.
Select the Edit icon.
Select the Add button near the bottom of the display. The Job Profile Settings screen will display.
Proceed with the following sections to complete the job profile set up as desired for use when starting future field operations.

Job Profile Name

Select the profile name field and use the on-screen keyboard to enter the name or description of the profile.
Enter a name or description that will help identify the specific field for which the profile is configured.

Select the Edit icon in the field information area and use the selection fields to assign the job profile. Refer to Grower, Farm, Field (GFF) Overview for details on creating or editing GFF Grower, Farm, Field assignments to help sort and manage field and job information.

Select the guidance drop-down field and select the preferred guidance type or line to use during field operations with the selected profile. A guidance line must be available on the ROS device to select a guidance line for the profile. Refer to Select a Guidance Pattern and Save AB Guidance Paths for assistance with setting or saving a guidance path.
Select the scout drop down field and select an available scout group to use with the profile. A scout group must be available on the ROS device to select a scout group for the profile. Refer to ROS Scout Groups Overview for additional information on creating scout groups and features for use during field operations.
